The Georgia State mens golf team looks to get back in the swing of things Jan. 30 and 31 for the JU Invitational at Jacksonville State University.
The Panthers will then head Hilton Head, SC to play in the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate hosted by Francis Marion.
Head Coach Joe Inman recently signed Jonathan Grey to the men's team.
Grey hails from Kent, England where he attended Sackville School in West Sussex.
He will not be able to play until the Fall, but Inman is looking forward to working with the 6-foot-5 junior.
"He has a solid swing and the drive to be a good collegiate golfer. I look forward to getting to work with him starting next fall," Inman told Georgia State Athletics.
The women's golf team returns to the spring semester as 3-time Colonial Athletic Association champions.
The women have also beefed up their lineup with a player from England in Sarah Bradshaw. Bradshaw is joined by Julie Lied who will begin play with Georgia State next fall.
Returning to the women's golf team is nine time CAA Golfer of the Week, Charlotte Lorentzen.
In their final matchup last season the Panthers finished third
in the Lady Paladin in Greenville, SC led by Lorentzen and teammate Charlotte Guilleux.
The women will look to pick right back up where they left off with their first set of games in the UCF Challenge in Sorrento, Fla.
The ladies will begin play in Florida on Feb. 12 and finish off the tournament on Valentine's Day.
Georgia State will host its first home game Mar. 26 and 27 in Stockbridge.
The CAA Tournament for the men's golf team will start April 27 in Wilmington, Delaware, while the women will start their CAA tournament on April 20 in Southport, SC.
