An enthusiastic Georgia State fan traveled to Buies Creek, N.C. to support his team last season.

The 2-8 Panthers will host the 6-4 Campbell Camels this Saturday in the Georgia Dome in a rematch from last season. This will be the final game of Georgia State's sophomore season.

The Panthers are coming off a third straight heartbreaking loss that was the result of crucial fourth quarter mistakes, a problem that has plagued the team since last season. The Camels lost to winless Valparaiso last weekend, but had two 100-yard rushers and 294 total rush yards in the losing effort.

Campbell's Quarterback, Braden Smith, is averaging 171.5 yards per game and has a 13:6 touchdown to interception ratio. Smith also has seven rushing touchdowns on the season. The Camels have a combined 31 rushing scores, and have a very potent ground game.

With the Panthers' defense as suspect as it's been this season, it wont be surprising if the Camels rack up big yards with the run game. They've been averaging 222.7 yards per game, and won the five games before their most recent loss due to their strong run game and opportunistic defense.

The Camels have forced 27 turnovers, including 17 interceptions, while the Panthers have 12 picks of their own going into the final game.

Last season's matchup ended on an Iain Vance field goal that gave Georgia State its first road victory.

The Camels won five straight after starting their season 1-3 and secured a winning record, their first since restarting their football program in 2008.

Last season the Camels finished with only two wins, while the Panthers finished with six. This season has been a complete role reversal for the teams, and the Camels will seek revenge as they try to put the final nail in Georgia State's sophomore season's coffin.

If the Panthers hope to end their season on a winning note, their defense will have to step up to the challenge, and Kelton Hill will have protect the football.

One way or another, the nightmare that has been Georgia State's sophomore season will come to an end. It's up to them how they choose to meet that end come Saturday.
